Yext has introduced three significant enhancements to its platform, leveraging AI and machine learning technologies.
Yext for Events, Yext Knowledge Assistant, and WeChat Mini-Programs integration are designed to help businesses engage with consumers through technologies like voice search and smart assistants.
These updates will enable businesses to manage new types of data, handle data more efficiently, and broaden the reach of their published information.
Here are details about these new services:
- Yext for Events: This feature allows businesses to manage public information about events from a single source and publish it on top event discovery sites.
- Yext Knowledge Assistant: This is a conversational interface that lets businesses manage public data without logging in or downloading an app. Users can simply send a message to the Yext Knowledge Manager.
- WeChat Mini-Programs Integration: This feature allows Yext to reach Chinese consumers in Mandarin on their preferred platform.
This launch marks the first instance where businesses can distribute event information through the Yext platform. It represents a pioneering solution that allows businesses to create a single event listing and publish it widely, a capability that was previously unavailable.
These advancements offer new opportunities for businesses to market their events by expanding the distribution of event information. Once published, information can be easily managed with the Yext Knowledge Assistant through text messages sent via Facebook Messenger or SMS.
"No one can predict the UI or AI of the future, but companies can control what intelligent services know about them – by making their own Knowledge Graph. The Yext Knowledge Engine serves as the foundation for any business to begin their own intelligent transformation."
Further details about these enhancements will be broadcast on November 1st via live stream at 2pm ET.
