WP Rocket, a popular WordPress page speed performance plugin, has announced the release of a new version that will help publishers optimize for Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), an essential Core Web Vitals metric.

This prevents the need to fetch data from the database each time someone visits the page, saving time, and resources. The latest version of WP Rocket (3.16) introduces Automatic LCP optimization. This new feature optimizes on-page elements from the main content, ensuring they are served first. This improves LCP scores and provides a better user experience.
Because it’s automatic, there’s no need for any manual configuration or fine-tuning.

All new functionalities operate seamlessly in the background, requiring no direct intervention from the user. Upon installing or upgrading to WP Rocket 3.16, these optimizations are automatically enabled. However, customization options remain available for those who prefer manual control.
