Last November, I met with Fay Friedman, an SEO expert based in New Jersey. Currently working within the property management sector, Fay has extensive experience in e-commerce SEO from the early stages of her career. She is the Director of SEO and Marketing at AJH Co. Like many in the industry, she discovered the power of SEO through writing and quickly became passionate about it.
During our conversation in Branch Brook Park, a lovely park in New Jersey, we discussed the differences between e-commerce SEO and property management SEO. Fay noted that e-commerce SEO is more technical and intricate due to pagination, filters, and the nature of product descriptions, requiring more focus on on-page technical SEO. In contrast, property management and local SEO may involve simpler websites, thus allowing more creative freedom with content marketing and link building rather than technical SEO.
We also spent a significant amount of time discussing some common issues she encounters during SEO audits. You can learn more about Fay Friedman through her professional network profile.
