An exact month after Google Maps for Android introduced multiple trip planning, iOS users can now enjoy the same feature.
Previously, iOS Maps users were limited to getting directions from one location to another. This was a step behind its desktop and Android versions, which already allowed users to add multiple destinations in a single trip.
With this update, you can now plot multiple destinations on Google Maps regardless of the device you are using. To use this feature, open the app, input a destination, tap the corner menu, and select “Add stop.”
You can continue adding as many stops as you need. You can also rearrange the order by long-pressing a location and dragging it into the desired sequence. Tap “Done” once you have everything arranged to your liking.
The navigation mode remains the same; however, it will now include the additional stops you’ve added. The updated version of Google Maps for iOS is available today in the App Store.
