Google Dominates Nielsen’s 2016 Rankings with 5 of the Top 10 Apps [REPORT]

Google secured 5 positions in the list of the top 10 downloaded apps in 2016, showcasing strong dominance alongside apps from Facebook, Amazon, and Apple.

However, Google missed out on the top 1 and 2 spots, which were claimed by the flagship Facebook app and Messenger app, respectively. The list continues with YouTube and Google Maps outperforming the Google Search app.

Google Play managed to rank higher than GMail, while Instagram, Apple Music, and Amazon filled out the remaining spots in the top 10 in that sequence.
