Google has introduced an update to its Android app designed to help users who occasionally encounter inconsistent internet connections. If a search attempt fails due to a poor connection, Google will now automatically deliver the results as soon as the connection is re-established.
Additionally, search results will be saved once they are returned. So, if your connection drops immediately after you conduct a search, you will still be able to browse through the search results and select a page to visit at a later time.
Google notes:
“… the next time you lose service, feel free to queue up your searches, put your phone away, and carry on with your day. The app will work behind the scenes to detect when a connection is available again and deliver your search results once completed.”
Google assures users that this update will have minimal, if any, impact on battery life and data usage.
