Google My Business Now Allows Agencies to Register Accounts

For the first time, Google is allowing agencies to register accounts on Google My Business.

Agencies signed up with Google My Business will gain access to a brand-new dashboard tailored to meet the demands of agency partners.

A notable advantage of this new agency dashboard is the capability to manage an unlimited number of locations, whereas non-agency accounts are restricted to 100 locations.

Additionally, user groups can be formed, enabling agencies to manage internal teams and regulate access to various locations. Agencies overseeing a large number of locations will benefit from enhanced search functionality within the agency dashboard, facilitating more efficient access.

Google has also implemented improvements for agencies managing accounts via the Google My Business API.

The latest API update includes many of the new features recently integrated into the web interface, such as offer posts and merchant descriptions.

These updates will be gradually rolled out over the upcoming weeks.
