Google has begun displaying store return policies within Google My Business listings in local search results.
This feature was first noticed by Sergey Alakov, who shared his findings on Twitter.
Upon conducting some searches myself, I was able to verify the presence of this feature.
In my experience, return policies were visible for some stores but not for others.
It seems that this information is not scraped from the businesses’ websites. Instead, this appears to be unique text added by Google, or it could be part of a pilot program where a select group of retailers can input their own text.
Regardless, this feature isn’t currently available for all business listings, even if the business has a return policy published on its website.
