Video: Dawn Beobide Discusses Google’s Confirmed vs Unconfirmed Algorithm Updates
In the first part of my conversation with Dawn Beobide, we discussed the importance of training developers in SEO. In part two, we delved into the upcoming Page Experience Update. Dawn emphasized focusing on users to anticipate future changes from Google. She mentioned that she sensed the need for this update through her data even before Google made the announcement, as it aligns with user preferences.
The discussion then turned to Google algorithm updates, highlighting the distinctions between confirmed and unconfirmed updates. With Dawn’s extensive experience in SEO, she was able to illustrate how these updates have evolved over the years. We talked about core updates, the Medic update, among others.
I also asked her which Google updates she considered the most significant in Google’s history. She cited the Penguin, Hummingbird, and Medic updates as the most impactful for her.
